* Make a list of every person you are shopping for and set a budget for how much you want to spend, and stick to it! If you take the time to figure that out, you will be more likely to stick to your budget.

*If you are a part of a big family and don’t want to buy a gift for everyone (that can get very expensive) talk to everyone about drawings names from a hat and each person buys a gift for 1 person instead.

* If you have a large group of friends…. Get together for a “favorites” gift exchange….each person brings 1 of they’re favorite things to do a gift exchnage. That way you are only buying 1 gift instead of several. You can make it a fun, festive event!

* Don’t be afraid to tell your friends and family that you are on a budget this year! You don’t have to go into debt just to buy gifts for everyone.

* Consider doing stocking’s for each member of your family and 1 big gift under the Christmas tree. Fill the stocking with useful items each person needs…socks, pj’s, slippers, lip balm, lotion, hair care products, a fun sweet treat, $5-20 gift cards to their fav restaurants, coffee shop, store, movie theature, ect. Keep things simple and get 1 big gift for each child/person that they will really love and enjoy. I feel like sometimes younger kids get so overwhelmed with too many gifts, and don’t end up even playing/enjoying all the gifts they are given.

I am so excited for the Christmas season to begin!
